Africa is one of the few continents where we feel safer taking an organized tour. On the recommendation of friends, we have planned a safari through a wonderful couple at African Mania. Here is our current itinerary...
Oct 15th: Pick up at KIA at 4:40PM, transport to Equator Hotel for dinner (with Sandi & Tom) and overnight.
Oct 16th: Spend the day viewing the sights around Arusha. Dinner with Tom and Sandi. Overnight at the Equator.
Oct 17th: After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park. Dinner and overnight at Equator.
Oct 18th: After breakfast, leave for Tarangire National Park, half day game drive. Dinner and overnight at 3 Trees Campsite.
Oct 19th: Full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Tented Lodge.
Oct 20th: Leave for Lake Manyara, game drive upon arrival. Dinner and overnight at Panorama Safari Campsite.
Oct 21st: Game drive in Lake Manyara visiting Hot Springs. Dinner and overnight at Panorama Safari Campsite.
Oct 22nd: Leave Lake Manyara for Lake Eyasi, game drive en route. Dinner and overnight at Hazabe Campsite.
Oct 23rd: Full day in Lake Eyasi. Dinner and overnight at Hazabe Campsite.
Oct 24th: Spend half day with Hazabe, nomadic tribe. Drive to Karatu. Dinner and overnight at Kudu Campsite.

Oct 25th: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for half day Crater tour. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Oct 26th: Full day Crater tour. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Oct 27th: Leave Ngorongoro for the south Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Lodge.

Oct 28th: Full day game drive to the center of Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.
Oct 29th: Full day game drive in the center of the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.
Oct 30th: Drive to the north Serengeti with game drive en route. Dinner and overnight at Lobo Wildlife Lodge.
Oct 31st: Full day game drive in north Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Lobo Wildlife Lodge.
Nov 1st: CAMERON'S BIRTHDAY. Drive to west Serengeti to Kirawirs River to see crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge. Birthday Party!
Nov 2nd: En route game drive passing Oldivai Gorge. Dinner and overnight at Panorama Campsite.
Nov 3rd: Drive to Lake Natron to see flamingos. Dinner and overnight at Kamakia Campsite.
Nov 4th: Full day in Lake Natron. Visit Oldonyo Lengai. Dinner and overnight at Kamakia Campsite.
Nov 5th: Spend half day with Maasai. Return to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at Mezza Luna.
